Does anyone have an idea for deodorizing the outside of leather work boots ostrich?

The outer work boots for my husband have a musty smell. It smells almost like mildew. Does anyone have any suggestions? They are leather Tony Lama ostrich.

Many people have the problem of smelly shoes at some point in their lives. Athletes and active people often have this problem more than others. Instead of going out and buying new shoes, or walking around smelly, take advantage of several methods that can make shoes smell better. Knowing a few basic steps and preventive measures can ensure that you will never have smelly shoes again. Step 1 Start by placing the shoes outside. Not only Do keep the smell of your house, but it will dry out the shoes. Let sit for shoes the sun for awhile so they have time to dry. Step 2 Do not wear shoes yet. At this point in filling the two bottom with bedding the cat. Although not wearing shoes, can sit down inside the shoe so they absorb moisture and assistance to the smell. Step 3 Sprinkle baking soda in both shoes before reuse. If in a race and you need the shoes immediately, this can be done before inserting the bottom. Shoes can be worn safely with baking soda inside them. After wearing the shoes, sprinkle a little baking soda inside most of them, then put down with the cat litter inside the shoe and allow them to sit. Step 4 Use a spray bottle to spray inside your shoes before and after wear them. This can be done instead of baking soda. Once again, After wearing the shoes, be sure to put down the litter cat inside the shoe. Step 5 Spray in foot spray anti-fungal. This should be done after boots are dry and not the smell. Make sure you spray the spray anti-fungal skin on a regular basis, your shoes will stay nice and odorless.
