Can you still get a tour of the White House?

Or did they stop making the tour after the 9 / 11? Just curious. I mean, it seems logical that they stopped doing them or visits are no longer free?

White House Tours Public tours of the White House are available. Applications must be submitted in one of its members of Congress and are accepted up to six months in advance. These self-guided tours are available 7:30-11:00 Tuesday-Thursday 7:30-12:00 pm Friday and 7:30-1:00 Saturdays (except federal holidays). Tour hours will be extended where possible according to the official calendar of the White House. Tours are provided on a first come, first served. Applications may be submitted until six months in advance and no less than 30 days in advance. You are encouraged to submit your request as soon as possible because a limited number visits are available. All White House tours for free. If you want to visit the house White and are a citizen of a foreign country, please contact your embassy in Washington, DC, for assistance in submitting an application access. White House Visitor Center All tours are significantly enhanced if visitors stop at the White House Visitor Center located at the corner southeast of 15th and E Streets, before or after their visit. The center is open seven days a week from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm and features many aspects White House, including its architecture, furnishings, first families, social events and relations with the press and world leaders, and a thirty-minute video. Allow between 20 minutes to an hour to explore the exhibits. The White House Historical Association also sponsors a sales area. If Please note that restrooms are available, but food service is not. Visually-Tours impaired groups for visually impaired ten or more in May to apply to members of Congress. Guide animals are permitted in the White House. Visit General Information All visitors should call the 24-Hours Visitors information line at 202-456-7041 to determine if last minute changes were made to schedule visits. Prohibited Items Prohibited items include, without limitation, the following: handbags, book bags, backpacks, handbags, food and beverages of any kind, strollers, cameras, video recorders or any type of recording device, tobacco products, personal toiletries (makeup, hair brush or a comb, lip or hand lotions, etc.), sharp objects (pens, knitting needles, etc.), aerosol containers, guns, ammunition, fire fireworks, electric stun guns, mace, Martial arts weapons / devices, or knives of any size. The U.S. Secret Service reserves the right to prohibit any other personal item. Umbrellas, wallets, cell phones and car keys are permitted. Parking The closest lines Metrorail stations to the White House are Federal Triangle (blue and orange), Metro Center (blue, orange, and red lines) and McPherson Square (blue and orange lines). On street parking is not available near the White House, and the use of public transport is strongly encouraged. Toilet / telephones The nearest public toilets and public telephones at the White House are in the visitors' pavilion Ellipse (the park area south of the White House) and the Center of White House visitors. Restrooms or public telephones are not available to the White House.
