Is it possible to make a steel/metal foam with helium gas inside the pores/bubbles?

It will be enclosed, and will be stainless steel. I mean I'm not making it, but what would happen? Is it possible?

It's probally possible but it would still fall like a rock. Helium barely lifts a balloon, much less steel...if that's what your going for.

You can make helium filled foam with dishsoap and it will float.
