Why are clothing sizes so inconsistent?
For example, if I measure my waist with a tape measure, it says I am 34 waist. But, size 34 jeans are sometimes WAY to big around the waist. At target, I get a 33 waist. But, if I get a pair of Calvin Klein jeans, they are size 31.
For shirts, if I get a medium, they are too big, but a small is too small.
Why are sizes so inconsistent. How do I find the proper size? Are the 34 jeans supposed to be a little big and wear a belt? Are they designed to be that way?
Same with me!hahaha. I have no answer because I'm also curious why.
