Leather Ostrich

Can you oil with ostrich leather saddle on this?
I'm looking for a saddle gun with ostrich leather (Kind of color) If I oil it wreck the party, even if I use non-oil-darkening? http://www.trinitytack.com/Saddle_Western_AS_Star_Racer_L.jpg
No, it will not because most barrel saddles from ostrich color is made of cowhide leather with ostrich look to it.
