How do you replace the gravel at all?

I have small pebbles tan now and I want to replace it with large black stones. What should I do?

You can take the stones and add on the new substrate. Save them and put it in a kind of bag and left in the tank. If you delete all gravel at a time, you will disturb the nitrifying bacteria.
