How old must a car so you do not have rear seat belts?
Me and my grandfather were was the restoration of a mini-classic in a few days / weeks or if it will MOT'd, it just needs a few things, such as plate registration front and rear passenger seat belt and the engine properly. Received the license plate sorted and the engine adjusted properly tomorrow, the rear seat belt passenger whats in it for the moment is frayed, his only frayed belt and i cannot seem to find a replacement pretty cheap. Iv been told by someone at school that if the car is after a certain age, it does not need belts rear security, is this true? or does it still need rear seat belts in the rear. Even if there are requirements for equipment and size, because my moms machinest sewing and she said she could shorten it if the frayed part isn't there anymore or it could replace the belt.
