Belt Buckle 50
Infant and positioning booster seat?
I have a 2001 Kia Optima. There are LATCH hooks in the three seats on the bench back. The dilemma is: I have a beautiful 7 year old daughter-who is with us every two weeks. It is 48 "tall and 50 pounds. Must be in a booster seat. I am pregnant with my first baby in the next two weeks and have a Graco SnugRide. I understand that the infant seat must be in the middle. And that's where we - - for now. The problem is that the infant seat installed in the middle, my daughter can not step no seat belt buckle for his booster seat. That said, who should get moved to where?
In fact, I would probably be seven years old in the middle and the baby on the side. The newborn, because he or she is rear facing, is a huge advantage of security already. So I would give the middle seat of forward facing child simply because it has no advantage over the back. http://www.thecarseatlady.com/car_seats/rear-facing_seats_8.html "If you have two children, things get more complicated. If you want to place the two children side by side (note that many cars will not accommodate two car seats installed correctly side by side), it is sure to have the forward facing children in the center and the baby rear-facing to the side. This is because the child rear facing is safer than anyone else in the car simply by virture of being rear-facing, so that the forward child should get the safest position, ie the center seat. "
