What is the Black Star average on a house during the Civil War.?
A house in our community is a pageant and a star Black on the door. Abraham Lincoln personally supposidly put there.
I think this could mean 1 of 2 things, 1. one death has occurred or it is a plaque and the family was quareented. I looked on wikipedia but didn't find any results.
