Studded Belt

How do I wear a studded belt?

So I have a studded belt&I want to wear it today, like the kind "punk" people wear.
I have tried to wear it before but my shirts are always long and they cover it up so it looks really stupid when I wear it and its like up on my waist.. How do I wear this without making it look stupid, should I not put the belt in the back loop?
