heyy :)
my birthdays coming up soon and i really wanted some nice skis :)

I've been looking at these
http://www.evogear.com/skis/roxy-girl-wonder-light-teen-integral-binding-2009.aspx

now according to the roxy website
they have a ski chart
http://www.roxy.com/info/index.jsp?categoryId=2832392&infopath=2883314&clickid=topnav_snowguide_txt

I started skiing last year and i caught on really quick and i normally just do greens and blues and rarely rarely do a black diamond (only once i think )

am 5 ft tall and 100lbs so according to the chart i should get about 146 cms but i want to get 150 incase i grow :)
now if i want to get these theres 140 and 150
am going to get 150
do you think that these skis will be good for me?

& do i need to get a certain ski boot for them?

thanks :)

Hey,

I'll start with the Boots, Boots should be a really snug fit, All demo bindings and most bindings are adjustable for any boot size, so don't worry about Boots fitting into the skis.

Skis, You seem to be pretty small (not that it's a bad thing, in fact it can be a good thing) and I would suggest going for 130's-140's as weight and height play a role, you wouldn't want to get longer skis, the only thing they help with is speed and learning how to carve and stay in control on longer skis is a real pain, also having longer skis makes it harder to maneuver through moguls (if you plan on going through some blacks).
Today, skis are constantly improving, the new skis are stiffer so they don't need to be long to attain high speeds.

Being that you are still learning, and this would be your first set of skis, I would suggest buying a 130-140 CM ski nothing fancy or expensive, once you feel you have mastered them and want to up your game, most mountains have demo days for men and woman, try a couple of them on and have them make suggestions for you, see which ones you like and then go and buy the same ski but 1 or 2 yrs ago's model, it's the same ski and would probably be 1/2-1/3 of the retail price of the new ones.

Good luck,
