If I want to know about white America is listening to metal, punk and grundge the best way?

It seems that way that people are interested in learning about black culture in America through the popular hip-hop. It makes no sense. Stop equating race Black with hip hop. Blacks are different. Imagine a 80 years old black woman talk that way. No more than your typical white grandmother speak in culture white pop.

Your point is well taken. It is amazing to listen to comments illogical to some whites, even those who are authorized to spew their bile thinly veiled racist on national television, accusing all of society's problems on rap music. I agree that rap push to integrate the majors labels is crap, it is a tool used to perpetuate stereotypes about blacks and another place for the entertainment industry to present a rather negative images of blacks in black children, keeping them low self-esteem. Where there no problems in America before corporations took over hip-hop?! American blacks original music genres such as jazz, blues, gospel, funk, soul and R & B but you never hear any associated person of Caucasian beauty, wonderful messages from countless songs in these categories as representative of the behavior or attitude of all blacks - very revealing and hypocritical. In America, when a black person does something positive, credit is awarded, begrudingly, to that person. However, when a black person does something negative, some whites mean that all blacks are this mold. I never thought whites as a group on the basis of acts of a handful of silly metal band members, which would be ignorant. It is also ignorant to judge people in black on the basis of the actions of a handful of rappers pathetic.
