Military Belt

Ticket for improper seat belt and failure to show registration ?

I got a ticket because my arm was over my seatbelt(hethought i wasnt wearing one at first) and also my registration was in the trunk instead of glovebox so I didnt give him that.

Should I pay the 200 and not go to court(plead guilty) or is there anyway i could get it dropped?
Its not my first ticket and Im trying to join the military soon.

What does the seat belt law read like where your are from? Here in Wyoming the law simply states you must be wearing one, it does not say anything about how it is to be worn. If your seat belt laws says the same thing, then I would argue the ticket. Some people, like my wife, can not wear a seat belt over a shoulder (wife has broken left arm), so the law usually does not require the belt be worn a certain way.

If your vehicle is registered and you had the registration why did you not give it to him? Take the registration to court and explain it was in your car's trunk and you had forgotten it was there. Maybe the court dismisses the ticket, maybe not. . ., worth a shot.
