what to do when you key fob remote is malfunctioning?
My mom has 2002 Nissan Xterra, and today the key fob remote started to malfunction. While she was in the car, it locked her inside, and before that she tried to unlock the door and it wouldnt unlock. Is there a site, where i could tell her what to do? Or are we going to have to get it repaired or replaced?
Buy new remotes and e-mail me and I will forward instructions to program them. The FCC number on the back of her remote is the frequency the new remote needs to be. Also the shape of the remote and number of buttons should be the same too. until then just use the key to lock and unlock the Xterria and remove the battery from the remote she is using. jp.hudson@sbcglobal.net
