Residents of Florida-What is your favorite bogus information to give when a snowbird and tourist demand?
When people ask me for directions to Disney or the beach or elsewhere, I want to say, "Take I-95 north for about 1000 miles. You can not miss it! Now I live in the Tampa Bay area, I substitute I-75 to I-95. When asked about the alligators, I tell people to stay off the golf course because anyone wearing black socks with sandals is a safe target for hungry alligators. What is wrong / funny things you love to tell these people?
I tell them to feed large flocks of gulls and their promise that they will not shit on it!
