Any Kind

Is a complete intolerence to any kind of noise an actual medical condition?

I find that i become more tense and agitated when confronted with any kind of noise such as other peoples TV's loud converstions etc. Its really getting me down, any advice other than going to live alone in the woods. are there any treatments etc?
Sailor it's not getting old in my cause I am only mid twenties.

noise is getting intolerable. i find that its impossible to shop at tesco because the noise is amazing. road traffic noise is bad, i cant sleep with my windows open because of the constant noise and i live in a fairly quiet area.. tv's are too loud. radios are too loud. its not just me or you. the noise levels are increasing beyond endurance. i was recently at gatwick airport. the noise was unbelievable and i dont mean the planes. it was general music in every shop, every cafe, every bar, even the toilets. have you heard the hand dry blowers? i was also at prague airport which was quiet. so quiet i could hear myself think.
so in answer to your question. no. the world is too loud. you are feeling the same as most people. lets get the noise stopped
